What We Collect

When you send a letter, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your letter message content
• Recipient name and mailing address
• Photo and caption (if you add one)

When you visit our site, we collect:

• Basic site usage data via Plausible Analytics (page views, referral source, device type, country). Plausible is privacy-friendly: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal information.
• Conversion tracking data via Meta Pixel if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad. You can opt out of Meta tracking in your Facebook ad settings.

How We Use Your Data

Your email address:

• To send you a payment receipt (via Stripe)
• To contact you if there's an issue with your order
• If you opted in, to send occasional updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

Your letter content and recipient address:

• Transmitted to our print-and-mail partner (ClickSend) solely to print and mail your letter
• We do not read, review, or store your letter content after it's been sent to the printer
• We do not use your letter content for marketing, AI training, or any other purpose

Payment information:

Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data. Not your email, not your address, not anything.
• We do not share your data with anyone other than our fulfillment partner (ClickSend) and payment processor (Stripe).
• We do not use your letter content for anything other than printing and mailing it.

Data Retention

• Letter content: Deleted after fulfillment is confirmed.
• Email addresses (opted-in subscribers): Retained until you unsubscribe.
• Transaction records: Retained in Stripe for accounting and refund purposes.

Cookies

• Plausible Analytics: Does not use cookies.
• Meta Pixel: Uses cookies for ad conversion tracking. Manage in your Facebook settings.
• Stripe: May set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

We do not use any other cookies.

Your Rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email.
• Request deletion of your data by emailing us. We'll remove your information within 30 days.
